Happy Valentine's Day!

Taking a quick break from the sex series to wish a charming Valentine's Day to you all for this coming weekend – an even bigger Happy Valentine’s to the creator of this heart-shaped pizza me and my mum shared in Florence. 

Whether you believe that Valentine’s Day is purely a product of consumerism and a money-making-capitalist trap, or whether you have faith in the tale of Saint Valentine of Rome, I urge you to treat yourself and those around you kindly. Of course, it should not be exclusive to one day that we shower our loved ones with affection, attention, gratitude, and love. But let us take this moment to reflect on if we’ve been a little too hard on ourselves recently or if we’ve been unnecessarily difficult with our loved ones. If this is the case, then actively take this event as a starting point to be, once again, the composed, openhearted, and loving wonderful people that we are.

Try not to grumble at couple's displays of affection, that will undoubtedly flood our social media feeds, and, speaking directly to myself here, try not to wallow in your singleness.
