Snippet of April Fun

Ok it's been a hot sec (...a full month...) since I posted anything on here as I often struggle to find inspiration and motivation for this page when I've been really busy and my head gets a little foggy - as it has been recently. 

So, just a quick update! Although April has been difficult at times, it has been a month full of love, opportunity, and self-development. After leaving the job that made me very unhappy, as mentioned before in this blog, I have been working part-time for my dad and focusing on my future career prospects, my art, my book, and getting well. I have made significant progress with all of those aspects, especially this month. When focusing on yourself and creating a better relationship with yourself, everything else begins to fall into place. To name a few quick things, a wonderful independent brand called Aweless reached out to me to model some of their beautiful handmade items. And they even let me keep them! As well as this,  I have also modelled twice this month for an independent vintage sportswear brand (here's a link to the video we shot: https://www.instagram.com/p/CN2yFUQBpOz/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link). My job as an Assistant Editor is still going well and I am excited for the future. 

These opportunities, and that fact that others are recognising my abilities/want to work with me, is gratifying as I often begin to doubt myself and my talents. I don't think I would have taken these opportunities had I stayed in my previous job as it drained all creativity, passion, confidence, and motivation from me. 

Some things are better ended so we can grow.
